Josh Wyper has been a constant in the Vancouver music scene for the past decade combining a rock and roll attitude with classic Motown soul. He has shared the stage with artists such as 50/40, Barney Bentall, Tal Bachman, Shaun Verreault and many more. He has played in bands The Left, The Pompadoors, Wyper and Parker and his most recent venture – The Good Time Boys along side Alex Carruthers, Rob Roco and KJ Apa. Expect to see variations of all those groups on April 20 at the Columbia.
Josh has been greatly influenced by renowned rock and roll voices such as Joe Cocker, Steven Tyler, Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks. The night will be a mix of his own original material along with some renditions from these great artists. Want a taste of what you can expect? Listen to how the audience reacted when Josh started singing in the video clip from last year’s Life Aid concert.
